This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, coordinating and/or delivering of person-centered services to individuals, groups, and communities.
At this level, workers have specialized skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. Workers usually provide direct support to individuals or groups of individuals. Workers may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management, program coordination or the development of new business opportunities.
This course includes a work placement of 200 hours to be completed within the course duration.

This CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services is delivered over a period of 104 weeks, including the work 24 weeks including holidays
This leadership-focused course is aimed at candidates wishing to enhance their careers in a leadership role within community services or to pursue higher studies.
Students with relevant certificate courses to progress to this qualification as a pathway. Based on enrolling student profiles and prior learning, education providers shall endeavor to group students with similar profiles and provide learning support to students as part of its student support.

To enroll in this course, students must:
Be 18 years or older at the time of commencement
Have successfully completed Year 12 or equivalent.
Provide evidence of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS 6.0 or equivalent).
Hold a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier).
All students must complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) test prior to enrolment. The test assesses your foundational skills in learning, reading, writing, oral communication, and numeracy at ACSF Level 3. This test helps us identify if additional learning support is required
